Riviera Stonemasons takes its health and safety policy very seriously.

We act in accordance with the policy and procedure set out in our company’s document ‘Statement of health, safety and welfare policy in respect of the health and safety at work act 1974‘.

We were awarded the best practice initiative with regards to our Manual Handling activities on the Shaldon and Ringmore Flood Defence project in 2010.

All employees are trained within the construction industry in Health & Safety and First Aid.

Risk assessment and method statements are undertaken prior to starting each contract and these are updated using ‘Toolbox Talks’ as the project proceeds.
